Coyote Valley Open Space Preserve |
Bilingual Nature Walk – Spring Edition at Coyote Valley Open Space Preserve
Spring is in the air—wildflowers are blooming, birds are singing, and it’s the perfect time to reconnect with nature! Come celebrate the season with a refreshing bilingual French-English Nature Walk, hosted by the Alliance Française Silicon Valley and led by outdoor enthusiast Thomas Celerier.
Whether you're a native speaker, language learner, or simply someone who enjoys the outdoors, this monthly walk offers a unique way to practice both French and English while exploring one of the Bay Area’s most beautiful landscapes. The event is family-friendly and open to all levels of both languages.
After the walk, stick around for an optional potluck-style picnic—a relaxed chance to share food, enjoy good company, and continue the conversation surrounded by nature.
About the Park
Coyote Valley Open Space Preserve is a hidden gem nestled between San José and Morgan Hill, offering panoramic views, rich wildlife, and peaceful trails. The preserve plays a vital role in protecting local ecosystems and serves as a key wildlife corridor between the Santa Cruz and Diablo mountain ranges.
We'll be walking the Arrowhead Loop Trail, a scenic 4-mile path that winds through oak woodlands, grassy hills, and seasonal wildflower meadows. Spring is a perfect time to visit, with vibrant colors, bird songs, and the possibility of spotting deer, hawks, and other native species along the way.
